En 2006, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9e parmi les sites potentiels pour les aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es par le groupe de priorisation et comme une zone de prioritaire de conservation par Kermen et al. (2009). Seize\n(16) esp\u00e8ces sont en danger critique d\u2019extinction (CR).
